What is TheWonderTrip?

We are a company whose mission is to arrange amazing surprise adventures in Europe or Morocco. We offer different packages, and both include flight and accommodation. For all of our packages, you can choose when you want to discover your city destination: 72, 48 or 24 hours before your trip, you will discover what city are you travelling to.

What if my flight is delayed?

We are not responsible for flight delays or cancellations. In the unfortunate situation that your flight is modified, TheWonderTrip offers legal advisory for free to claim any damages. Some general guidelines:

- If your flight is delayed for more than 3 hours, the airline must offer you free beverages and food.

- If your flight is delayed for more than 24 hours, the airline must offer you transportation and accommodation.

- In case of complete cancellation, the airline is responsible for offering you another flight or a refund.

what dates can I pick?

Trips are normally from Friday to Sunday. Sometimes, we introduce other days for people who are not able to travel on weekends. On the calendar of our homepage you can check the available dates.

Can I check baggage?

You can take a small bag (bug, laptop, etc). You can check the size and weight requirements for your hand luggage on the airlines website that we provide to you along with your flight details.

For any questions regarding de check-in you can put it on the observations part of the form or get in touch with as directly.

What city destinations does each package include?

Once you select your package and your departure city, you can easily check it by clicking on “city destinations”. Some of our city destinations include Istanbul, Athens, and Barcelona. By the way, we would love to hear your suggestions about other city destinations!

When will I discover which city I am going to?

You have the option to choose if you want to know it 72, 48 or 24 hours before your departure. It is up to you the degree of excitement you would like to have! We will email you the boarding pass, hotel booking, and a mini-guide to make the most out of your getaway weekend. The guide includes an unorthodox way to discover the city... a real adventure! You will also be able to go on “My Trip” and access all the details of your trip and necessary documentation, which you can download at any time.

What are the departure time ranges for the flights?

Unless you choose a certain range of hours, the departure flight can be on Friday at any time from 06.00AM to 23.59 P.M. The same times apply for the return flight on Sunday. If you can only fly on a certain range of time, you can choose that. This range may change in 30/60 minutes of the time indicated on website. Choosing your preferred range of time may incur a supplemental cost. You can always leave a message in the “ observations” part of the form and we will try to accommodate your wishes without any supplement, but we cannot guarantee it.

Can I travel alone?

Not yet! You will be informed once we launch this possibility.

Can I travel with friends?

Of course! We encourage you to take on this experience accompanied by your friends/partner/family. You just have to select the number of people and fill in the form for each one. If you prefer to buy separate packages but travel together, please indicate it on the “Observations” part of the form. If you have more than 6 people, please contact us! We will try to make it even easier for you.

What does the price include?

Both packages include flight and accommodation. The accommodation (on the Friday and Saturday of your selected weekend) is in a hotel from 2 to 4 stars depending on the the city and plan.Some accommodations have a city tour. In this case, prices for the tour range from 1 to 5 Euros and must be paid additionally upon arrival at the Hotel. Of course we will inform you about this.

Can I choose my city destination?

The surprise factor involves uncertainty about your destination city, meaning that you will not be able to actually know where you are going to until 24/48/72 hours before your trip (depending on the level of excitement you choose). However, you can narrow down the possibilities by discarding 7 possible city destinations in the basic package and 4 in the the premium one. In both packages, the first discard is free. After that, any additional discard has an extra cost.

Will I get a single room if we have 3 people?

No, you won't. If you have 3 people, we will request a triple room. You can note it in the “observations” part of your form if you wish another thing..

What are the hotel options?

We have a wide array of verified, good quality hotels to ensure an excellent experience. Generally, our hotels are in the centre of the town or well connected. You can check out the hotels we work with on the “Hotels” tab of our website.

You will receive the information about your hotel when we send to you your documentation and boarding pass 24, 48, or 72 hours before your departure.

How long in advance do I need to choose my package?

Even though you can always choose your package for any of the available dates on our website, we recommend that you choose your package as much in advance as possible so that we can make sure you get the best available room/flight

If I repeat my experience with TheWonderTrip, what are my chances to go to the same destination city?

If it is not your first experience with us, you can discard the city you visited with us by indicating it in the “observations” part of the form. This way we can make sure you have a different experience and you will still be able to discard other not-preferred destinations without any extra-charge.

Does the hotel include breakfast, lunch, or dinner?

It does not. Sometimes it includes breakfast but we will inform you if it is the case. You will be able to arrange any type of meal once you get your hotel.

Does TheWonderTrip offer any type of insurance?

We do not include any insurance, but all the airlines include a basic insurance. If you would like to extend your coverage, please indicate it in the “observations” part of your form.

Can I cancel or modify my booking?

We do not normally allow cancellations. However, you can always contact us and we will try to find a solution for you.

Can I travel with children?

Children younger than 2 years old must pay a 50 Euros surcharge. If this is the case, please contact us to make your reservation. This fare includes a cradle in the hotel and airport fees. Identification is required

Can children use TheWonderTrip on their own?

Passengers under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Additionally, they will need to take their ID or passport as well as an official authorisation signed by their legal guardian and issued by the government of their country".

Passengers between 16 and 18 years old can travel alone with their ID card/passport and an official authorisation. For further information please contact us directly.

Passengers with special needs

If anyone needs special medical equipment, assistance at the airport, or has any other special requirement, please indicate it in “observations part” of your form.

If you are pregnant, we always advise you to consult it with your doctor. If you are in the 28th week (or more) of your pregnancy, you need to take a document issued by your doctor which states that you are not at risk while flying. Even with this documentation, be aware that some airlines reserve the right to deny your boarding if they determine that it may be unsafe for you.

About your ID and Passport

Please, have your ID (and if necessary your passport) ready and make sure it has not expired.

Will I need to obtain foreign currency?

It depends on your destination city. In the majority of our cities you will be able to use Euros,but there is a chance that you will be going to a country where the Euro is not the offcial coin.

With which airline will I fly?

We currently work with different airlines and the flight depends on your chosen getaway weekend and available places.

Can I pay in two instalments?

Generally, you cannot defer payments. When you have more than 6 persons in the group, please contact us and we will check whether it is possible.

Do I get any benefit if I repeat the experience with TheWonderTrip?

You will receive discounts or free discards for future purchases.

Is TheWonderTrip's website responsive?

Yes, it is. You can see TheWonderTrip's content in different devices perfectly.

What should I do if I don't receive my booking confirmation?

If you don't receive any confirmation email, please inform us by emaling us to hello@thewondertrip.com and we will contact you.

If I don't receive the information about my final destination or guide, what should I do?
