Low cost in the British city

If London is well known for something, it is not for being one of the cheapest cities over Europe. For sure that more than once you have heard about the amount of pounds you need in order to be able to live an intense day around London. But no worries, there are lot of activities you can do little money or for free. Take pen and note book, and jot down the activities you can do for “Low cost London” this 2016.

Go through its history.

London is one of the few European capitals where the majority of its museums are almost for free. Waking around some of them will help us get to know  the history of London and even its civilization.

We know that you don’t have so much time, that’s why we recommend that you pick the most impressive ones, such us the British Museum, where you can contemplate the Rosetta Stone and some of the oldest Egypt mummies, the Tate Britain and the National Gallery. Also, you are passionate about dinosaurs we encourage you to pass by Science Museum and Crystal Palace Park, where you can see real size samples.

Lunchtime

After some visits you will feel like stopping to rest a bit and take energy. Eating out for a low price is possible by imitating the local’s  habits. The huge amount of gardens and parks in the city, make it easy for us to make a picnic and lay down on the grass, admiring the sights that offer to us some of them. We recommend you Wimbledon Common, Hyde Park, St. James Park, Kensington gardens (and its Peter Pan statue) and Bushy Park, which has over 320 dears almost passing by your side.

But if you are more into traditional cuisine, the most ideal option is to look for restaurants that are not located in the City Centre.  The Bangladeshi neighborhood, the chains of sandwich restaurants such us Costa or Eat, or the take away possibility from any little store on the street, are the most affordable options.

A romantic sunset

Undoubtedly, sights over London are not indifferent for anybody. Taking a good panoramic with the sunset is possible in the Greenwich Park, the shores of the Thames River, in Alexandra Palace, or in Primrose Hill where you will get a sight over the entire capital.

But if you are not really into romantic stuff you can enjoy an amazing afternoon by going to the Buckingham Palace, where you can see the changing the guard, crossing the famous pedestrian crossing of The Beatles in Abbey Road, contemplating the Tower Bridge, getting to know the huge lions of Trafalgar Square, get flashed with the lights of Piccadilly Circus, and listening the strokes from the most famous clock all over the world, the Big Ben. Without forgetting to get immersed in the world of Howards at King's Cross Platform 9¾.
